Fender's Player Series follows on from the popular Standard Series, offering high-grade instruments for a more entry-level price. Just like the American-made model, this Tele comes backed up by a string-through-body bridge and a set of six bent-steel saddles that inject extra brightness into the sound as well as enhanced sustain. Meanwhile, the standard Player Series Alnico 5 Tele single-coil at the neck is joined by a Seymour Duncan Saturday Night Special Alnico 4 Hot Tele single-coil at the bridge, upgrading the output with focus and balance, alongside that timeless warmth, growl, bite and twang. Customise the sound at will via the tone and volume pots and three-way switch.
